The Dock Team exists to serve with joy, create space for others to encounter Jesus, and make every arrival feel like coming home. Whether you love to greet, teach, play music, or work behind the scenes, there’s a place for you on the Dock.

Here are just a few of the areas you can serve:

Community Outreach

Be the hands and feet of Jesus in Hutto and beyond. This team leads and supports local projects, events, and partnerships to meet practical needs, serve the vulnerable, and bring the love of Jesus into our neighborhoods.

Welcome Team

Help create a warm, friendly, and inviting atmosphere for every guest who walks through our doors. From greeting people at the entrance to helping them find a seat, the Welcome Team sets the tone for the entire Sunday experience. Your smile could be someone’s first glimpse of Jesus.

Kids

Invest in the next generation by serving in a safe, high-energy environment where kids can learn about Jesus in fun and meaningful ways. Whether you’re leading a small group, helping with crafts, or supporting worship time, you’ll be planting seeds of faith that last a lifetime.

Youth

Walk alongside students in middle and high school as they grow in their identity and faith. Through mentorship, conversation, and fun, you’ll help create an environment where teens feel safe, seen, and spiritually supported.

Prayer Team

Stand in the gap for our church, leaders, and community through focused, intentional prayer. Whether praying during the week or after services, this team helps carry the spiritual atmosphere of Anchor City Church in Hutto.

Worship

Lead our church in worship through music, sound, lighting, or visuals. Whether you’re playing an instrument, running a camera, mixing audio, or managing lyrics, this team helps create powerful moments for people to encounter God each week.

Creative Team

Use your skills in design, video, photography, or social media to tell the story of what God is doing in and through our church. Every post, photo, and video helps extend our reach beyond Sunday and into the world.

Security Team

The Security Team helps ensure a safe, distraction-free environment for everyone attending Anchor City Church in Hutto. With a calm presence and a watchful eye, this team monitors entrances, checks in on kids’ areas, and remains alert during services to handle any concerns discreetly and professionally. It’s about peace of mind—so that people can focus on what really matters: encountering Jesus.

Admin Team

The Admin Team helps carry the mission forward through organization, communication, and behind-the-scenes support. From preparing print materials and managing schedules to organizing supplies or handling follow-ups, this team makes sure the details don’t get in the way of the ministry. Whether it’s a Sunday service, midweek event, or special project, the Admin Team brings structure to the vision of Anchor City Church in Hutto.
